IMPORTANT NOTICE
Whenever applicable, the NABA will adhere to the rules and regulations
of its parent organization, the World Boxing Association.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
In accordance with sec.16. (c) Sanctioning Organizations, of the
"Muhammad Ali Boxing Bill" the NABA is requesting that a
representative of every boxer rated among the first 15 spots in our
organization send their contact info, including mailing and/or e-mail
address to 1350 York Mills rd.#103 Toronto Ontario Canada M3A 1Z9
or naba@rogers.com, so that they can heretofore be notified of
any changes in ratings that affect them directly.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
In keeping with
the recognition by the boxing community of the important
role which the NABA can play in helping boxers to reach
world-class status, our executive committee has decreed
that, effective October 1, 2004, all boxers
from North America who are included in the WBA ratings
will automatically be included at the top of the list of
NABA monthly rankings in their respective weight
categories, and in the same sequence as they (North
Americans boxers) actually appear in the corresponding
monthly WBA ratings. This new format will result in
the NABA giving full recognition at the top of their
monthly ratings, to all North American boxers who are
listed in the WBA ratings, and in the same sequence.
Furthermore, the NABA ratings will henceforth consist of
twenty (20) boxers, rather than fifteen (15), which had
been the rule prior to this change. This new format is
designed to enhance the prestige associated with NABA
titles, while continuing to provide promising prospects,
a solid stepping stone for their world title ambitions,
which is the primary goal of the NABA. |
